dotThe Radionics OmniSight Optical Tracking System used at MetroWest Medical Center permits accurate frameless CT or MR guidance which is accurate to < 5 mm.

dotThe OmniSight OTS works by registering the patient's head with scalp fiducials relative to the images and locating the position of the surgical instruments in this space by light reflected off spheres embedded on them detected by an optical camera and transmitted to the computer for analysis.
